PHEAA loan relief and name change

I’m in PA and a few years ago I had applied for the PHEAA student loan repayment for nurses program. In December I was notified that I was selected for possible payment and submitted all required information and it is now pending processing. I have an appointment next week to start my last name change process (I was married in September 2024 and due to financial reasons I haven’t been able to change to my married name), but am worried that it will affect repayment. I have no idea how much longer the loan relief might take and would like to change to my married name, but I’ve waited this long so I’m fine with waiting longer.l if that would make the most sense. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What should I do?
