Hi all,

I’m a UK home applicant,UK citizen,UK national and resident with a british passport who's planning to start the Wolverhampton 2-year Accelerated BSc in 'Medical Sciences' as part of the 'The Wolverhampton & AUC 6 year MD track'. I understand I can use Student Finance England(SFE) to fund the 2-year BSc at the University of Wolverhampton, but I’m really stuck on how to finance the subsequent 4-year MD portion that is studied at AUC's campus in Preston,Lancashire.

I’ve been researching private student loans, but most options like Sallie Mae seem to only serve US citizens or US-based students. Has anyone here (UK home students especially) figured out financing for the AUC years? Are there UK-friendly private lenders, international student loans, or other funding routes I should look into?

Any help or pointers would be hugely appreciated. I’m trying to map out the finances before committing, but I’m really stumped at the moment.

How to fund the AUC portion of "The Wolverhampton → AUC 6 year MD track" programme – UK home student stuck on financing.
