I am graduating high school in a few months and I have decided that I want to work in oil. I’d prefer to eventually be working off-shore, but I’ve heard it’s near impossible to be hired into off-shore with no prior experience. Where do I start? What companies are good and how can I eventually reach my goal of being on an off-shore rig? I’m able bodied and I’m quick to pick up things. I have also heard that there are certain times when I should apply, when would those be?
