Hello BD,

    ​As a member of the Ashford University Group Discharge, I applied on August 31, 2023, and received my official "Golden Ticket" approval on January 27, 2025. This past January, I was thrilled to see that my 2015 loans were successfully discharged. However, it seems the "Discharge Button" may have run out of ink or experienced a sudden power outage, as my 2016 and 2017 loans are still very much alive, active, and haunting my account.

    ​While I appreciate the partial progress, having 2015 gone while 2016/2017 remains is like a waiter bringing me a fork and a napkin but forgetting the actual steak. I’ve called both MOHELA and FSA multiple times, but the only thing that has been "discharged" so far is my patience. I would love to hear if anybody have similar situation as mine? I will also appreciate if anybody have any advise?

    1. You should only be contacting the borrower defense team. MOHELA doesn’t have a lot of control over it.
