On December 4, 2025, I received an email that stated:
Congratulations!
You have been selected for participation in the PA Student Loan Relief for Nurses (SLRN) Program administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA). You applied for participation in the SLRN Program during the COVID-19 pandemic and have now been selected for possible payment.
I submitted my loan verification documentation that same day, and my employer submitted employment verification documentation on December 17. Since then… nothing. No communication. Not a word. I have contacted PHEAA multiple times and they said they are processing documents in the order they are received and once they have processed my documents they will contact me with next steps. No one can give me an ETA or any more information. I know there were several rounds of relief issued and this is apparently the last one. Can anyone tell me how the process was for them? How long did it take? Has anyone received relief from this most recent round?
