Has anyone recently bought a new loveseat that they recommend under $300? The one I have is sagging real bad after so many years that I need to replace. I see too many budget options it's hard to know what's good out there. Second hand is not an option for me as I am paranoid about bedbugs.

I need it to be firm and hold up to continual use throughout the day. I am opened to a bigger size if I am to go to to $400.

    1. There are no love seats you can buy at that price bracket that are not going to be complete garbage that will last for a year or less.

Buying second hand is probably a much better idea and you can look for real wood frames and solid cushions but you will need to be wary of the risk of bed bugs 🙁

Is it sagging because there’s a structural issue (or like, old worn out springs if it’s an ancient design), or did the foam in the seats just give out? Foam is a wear item, and any furniture with it will experience a decay in support over time, accelerated by heavy use.

Most foam that comes with furniture is cheap and wears out quickly. you can replace it with more expensive foam that will last much longer.

Foambymail is a very good seller. You can grab a sample pack to see what you like best before ordering, and maybe fix what you have far cheaper than you’ll find a better option on a budget.

I’ve personally spent $500+ with them buying toppers for beds, but they have an even bigger selection of furniture oriented foam replacements.
