It's been over 48months since I've had my current CSP. I want to know if I can downgrade it, and then re-apply to get the bonus again? I know there are new rules as of last year and I can't find a clarifying post on this.

Can I downgrade my CSP and re-apply to get the sign-on bonus again after 48 months?

Chase has limited Sapphire bonus eligibility to once in a lifetime. Some people have been successful, but most are in PUJ.

Unfortunately, you won’t know until you downgrade and reapply.

Recent posts suggest Chase has institued once in a lifetime language for Sapphire bonuses.

Chase has a PUJ like Amex now, so officially you are barred “”for life”” and your true eligibility is decided by an algorithm, so nobody but Chase knows.
