I am wondering what to expect of the barrel's price. It's hard to understand what is happening with its value especially in the last few days.
Is the Strait opening up?
Will there be an actual shortage?
Will the price of the barrel stabilize or not?

I’ve seen someone say tankers have been slipping through for a while without issue but no verification
The Straight of Hormuz is technically not closed however ships can go there at their own peril.
Some ships went through with their transponder off (it doesn’t make that much of a difference especially in a strait).
The youtube channel “what’s going on with shipping” cover the whole thing extensively.
