    Every vessel transiting is flying a shadow fleet flag… Belize, Panama, Liberia, Comoros, Malta. These are flags of convenience used specifically to obscure Iranian oil moving outside Western sanctions.

    Zero Western commercial tankers. Zero.

    Wednesday morning EIA inventory prints… first data capturing 10 days of full Strait closure. Same morning February CPI prints.

    The data doesn't care about presidential quotes.

      Tankers are reportedly switching off their AIS transponders before entering the Strait of Hormuz.
      Then turning them back on after exiting.

      That means the vessels are still moving oil.

      But no one can track them in real time.

      America gets about 20mm barrels a day through there. Or 3.5 to 6 tankers a day through the strait. So 1 every 4 to 7 hours.

      you don’t know how to read AIS, or anything about “flag of convenience” almost every vessel at sea is flying one of them doesn’t mean they are smuggling oil. The AIS is being turned off so ships can’t be targeted by Iranian drones, AIS is being spoofed by US and others, to expose Iranian drone launchers and target THEM. Also, Every country in that region is doing GPS spoofing, so drones/missiles get lost. Bottom line, whatever you seeing on a SCREEN is not reality of what is happening in the WATER. Good luck trying to trade on it, its only your money.

      I think there’s been at least a few reports of gulf states tankers moving to asia successfully. The fact that Iranian crude is still moving is actually a plus for oil shipping (if iranian crude can’t be shipped, they have no incentive to avoid fucking up the strait).

      Belize, Panama, Liberia flagged vessels ? Lolol, somebody off their meds ? Those are very very common flagged vessels, used all over the world for everyday shipping of stuff like household goods, appliances etc. 😄
