The chicken price has gone up, and it's ridiculous. The chicken price has gone up more than last year, and it's like, when would it stabilize? This data has helped me know which price is more expensive i didn't know this existed until I was introduced to it by a friend. This is

    1. prices don’t stabilize? they’re always changing.

Also, look at “Leg Quarters, Value” and “Whole Bagged Roaster,” the price has gone down since the previous year. Those are what I buy.

I switched to being a vegetarian (for financial, as well as ethical reasons) and have slashed my grocery bill by more than half, easily.

I bought a pressure cooker (large instant pot, but any will do), and cook my own chickpeas, and pinto beans. I can cook a weeks worth for our family in about an hour.

I pretty much live off of homemade chipotle (less salt though!) and homemade indian food (chana masala – onions, chickpeas, olive oil, various spices, crushed tomatoes, etc).

I thought I was saving money before – I couldn’t believe how much more I could save by cutting out meat (or at least cutting back).

I just wanted to put this out there in case you were looking to save even more

Food bank. They usually have some kind of meat and two or three packages. Last week I got one and it’s six servings of chicken breasts, should last me all week.

Use chicken as a condiment and not a main dish (curries, stir fries, salads, etc.)

Im vegan so the price of animal products never affects me or matters to me.

You will just have to eat less meat or catch a sale i guess. I know a lot of people buy a lot and freeze it.

13 out of 22 things have come down in price. Keep up with it by buying those.
