I would like some feedback about actions taken on days like this, to maximize and feel like you made the best of the opportunity. I always feel a bit let down like I could have done better had I done something differently, sure I made money but I could made more… (I don’t do all these things, it’s just things I consider, and stating them for conversation grease)

Do you clip off positions on the way up?

Do you dump the whole position you’re hodling for the long term to attempt at buying it back cheaper?

Do you clip position portions simply to allow the buy back lower?

Do you ever sell position at a loss, during a draw down phase simply to try to churn a few flips to eliminate the drawdown?

Do you buy back the same day if it drops back and then seems to have enough juice to go back up?

What criteria do you use to assess an appropriate buy back price, if it’s higher then your original cost basis before you sold it today?

Do you try to squeeze a few more dollars from a trade or two because the market seems like it will stay up and go up a little more today?

What data, indicators, whale watching sites, etc. Do you utilize in the heat of the moment like today?

If you don’t mind sharing some of your tactics, you deploy on amazing days like this. That would be greatly appreciated.

Things are moving so fast, it gets to be a bit overwhelming, and having a plan would be ideal I believe.

Great days always make me feel, I could have done better, How do you strategize days like this?

On fast days I stick to predefined levels and size out in tranches so decisions are less emotional. A written plan for entries, exits, and max risk per trade helps more than trying to capture every last move.
