Would it be BTC? ETH?

Or some of the stable coins like USDC, or USDT, or DAI?

Which of these has the most secure wallets?

I’ve been trying to better understand the long-term side of crypto investing and I’m curious what people here think. If you had to choose a cryptocurrency as a long-term store of value, what would you go with and why? Would it be something like BTC or ETH, or do stablecoins like USDC, USDT, or DAI make more sense for preserving value over time?

I’m also wondering how wallet security factors into this. Are some assets considered “safer” mainly because of the wallets and ecosystems around them? For example, are Ethereum-based wallets generally more secure or battle-tested compared to alternatives like Solana wallets, or does it mostly come down to user practices?

I’m not looking for financial advice, just trying to understand the trade-offs between volatility, stability, and security when choosing where to store value in crypto over the long run. Would appreciate hearing different perspectives and experiences! Thank you.
