    1. Ah yes, helping by starting a war and being the direct cause it’s closed. The opposite of open, btw.

Fool the market once, shame on you!

Fool the market twice, shame on… holy shit it worked again?

Fool the market thrice, it keeps working!

The issue with reopening by force is that even a 99% success rate of intercepting or preventing attacks results in one ship per day going up in flames which is an absolutely unacceptable rate of attrition. Place your bets accordingly and let the rest of the market come to this realization in due time.

Operation Epic Desert Storm with a coalition of the USA, Israel, Japan, South Korea, China, Britain, the EU, India, the Gulf states, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina! Awesome!

    5. So we’re reaching 140 next, then 120 because someone made pinky promise about reopening, then 160, then 140 and so on

It’s surprising to me that the market would react this strongly to an offhand statement like that from Netanyahu. I don’t think much of any weight should be given to this, and yet it drives the market. Hard to tell who the regards are sometimes.

    7. I imagine the Houthis and Iranians are salivating at the mouth to take down any Israeli vessels they see.

Yeah the worlds biggest miltitary cant reopen Hormuz but let’s pump on Israel saying they can do it LMAO

    9. I think oil dropped because Bessent said they might drop sanctions on Iranian oil. I don’t think it has anything to do with Netanyahu

Seriously guys, ive only been doing this for 2 years. Is the market always this regarded? I feel like ive seen 5 ‘generational’ events already.

Market so backwards, I’m actually betting this positive “news” pump holds this time

    12. Israel has an extremely competent military and heavily invests in its ability to attack abroad and defend at home, but what are they gonna contribute to defending tankers in and around the Persian Gulf?
