Anyone deal with Robinhood and their biometric whackness? Got a new phone and number.
Robinhood won’t let me into my account without providing facial ID, or logging into my bank account through a third party app called Plaid. Demonstrably, this doesn’t make me safer. So when they get hacked, again, some dude can steal my face. Anyways, I talked to a rep over the phone. ID’d myself, gave the old phone number and new number, email, the last for of SSN, DOB, address, etc. Dude confirmed who I was, and he then asked me to go to a link and scan my face lmao. Long story short. I have an account in limbo, at the mercy of the web, and cannot sign in. Their support team told me my new device would become trusted in weeks, and as I’ve tried to log in it still sends codes to my old phone. Robinhood has been made aware that is not my number, yet, every time I log in it goes to the old phone. Still can’t get in.
