So, my Dad just got a call from my local bank, and they said they want him to apply for a credit card. So I am in doubt that, they just want to meet their target before 31st March and get as many people as possible to apply for it. We never got any call like this before.
Plus they didn't even mention which type of Credit card. Secured or Unsecured (My Dad doesn't know the types of cards so he didn't ask them) so please help me decide what to do.
I think I should not apply for it.
Is sales team trying to complete their target?

why is this a question? It’s virtually a non-issue just move on with your life
It could be a routine outreach or a push to meet targets, so it might be safer to not apply unless there’s a real need. If you do consider it, it could help to review the card details yourself first and compare options before making any decision.
