When you spend in an eligible 5% category, do you receive the 5% immediately or do you have to wait until your statement?
I just checked my spend and realized that for the last 15 days of spending or so, I have not received an additional 5% on dining. I thought maybe I had maxed out but I took a look and I’m about 500 away from maxing.
I called Chase and was told I have to wait until the statement but I could have sworn you used to be able to track this live. Does anyone know if this is a recent change?

You can track it live, but you still wont receive it until your statement closes.
It shows as pending on my freedom account in the app
In terms of being able to use the cash back, you have to wait until your monthly statement posts.
