Kraken has messaged me to verify my trading intentions and if I don’t message back it says they will shut down my account temporarily.
Is this something to worry about ? I have answered all their questions and submitted the necessary documents

That’s pretty normal with exchanges these days. They do periodic compliance checks, especially if your activity changes or triggers something on their end.
If the message actually came through your account or an official email and you didn’t click any sketchy links, you’re probably fine. Sounds like you already did the right thing by submitting what they asked.
Only thing I’d double check is that you’re logging in directly and not through any link they sent, just to be safe. Otherwise it’s usually just a temporary review and your account should be back to normal after they process it.
