Legacy $95 AF Savor Cardholders: Are replacements/renewals still metal with the NEW Savor design?

Hi everyone,

Forgive me if this has already been answered in the depths of Reddit. I currently have the legacy Capital One Savor card (the one with the $95 annual fee and 4% dining/entertainment/streaming, 3% groceries, 1% all else). My current card is the original metal design with the orange concentric circles.

For those of you with the $95 AF version who have recently received a replacement or a renewal card in late 2025 or 2026:

1. Is the card still metal?

2. Does it have the new sunset gradient design with the boring lettering?

3. If it is the new design on metal, is the lettering/logo laser-etched or just printed?

My current card doesn’t expire until 2029, but the chip is wearing out, only working like half the time. If you have gotten the new design on metal, post a pic I’m curious how it looks especially if it’s etched like the Venture X.
