I've been involved in a car accident where the other party was drunk, crossed over, and T-boned me. I wasn't able to exchange any information with her since she was arrested on the spot. I have already settled for my car's value with my insurance, but I'm still dealing with a Progressive health settlement. It is a soft tissue injury, and on the day of the accident, I attended the ER for MRI and X-ray scans. I have had three doctor's appointments so far. I have settled, but I haven't signed anything yet. They told me they would cover all of the medical bills, plus $2500 coverage for any other future visits, coverage for lost wages, expenses for meds, and $800 (I'm assuming for pain and suffering). After a long phone call full of arguments, I barely bumped it to $900. I think they are low-balling me, but at the same time, I don't want to deal with attorneys; my life is already a total headache, and I don't think I can bear it anymore. In that case, should I still hire a lawyer just to get a reasonable payout?

You said they’re covering all your bills.

Do they owe you a million dollars?
