I initially planned to cancel the card once the annual fee posted, but later realized I could have used the credit first and then canceled. When I called, the rep mentioned they were waiving the annual fee since the card was set to close in the next statement cycle. I asked them not to cancel, and it’s now been about two months since the annual fee posted. I have a couple of questions:
- Am I still eligible to use the $325 credit?
- Can I book travel and then cancel it to trigger the credit, or would that be clawed back?
- Will they charge the AF soon?.
