Per NYT:

In a letter circulated to members of the International Maritime Organization on Tuesday, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs defined nonhostile vessels as those which “neither participate in nor support acts of aggression against Iran” or belong to the United States or Israel.

So calls at open like we’re sending a new carrier group. Bullish.

They were already letting ships through that don’t belong to the US or israel

They are running out of resources and capabilities for stopping them.

The U.S. warships are almost there and they know they won’t be able to do much about them.

So now they are pretending to allow ships through when in reality they won’t be able to stop them.
