I’m not. I just know Fiat money will keep becoming worth less forever so I put my money in things the government can’t print.

    2. Bitcoin value going down in permanent terms depends on 1 thing: governments becoming responsible and not populist with money.

I will take the bet they won’t.

      The rest is math.

I am confident because fiat has no bottom. Fiat is guaranteed to lose purchasing power.

Best store of value and so much capital left to move in. I can only see it going up given time.

They’re not going to stop printing money so eventually it will happen. Doesn’t guarantee the purchasing power will increase but there’s value in universal money. The worlds payment systems are becoming more fragmented. It used to be that visa and mastercard worked everywhere but now it’s moving to national qr code apps in china, brazil and maybe soon in Europe. If you try and buy a vps there is very real adoption in that space with most vps providers accepting bitcoin, so it’s got some real world usage.

    6. After 9 years in the crypto space, nothing has been more consistent than Bitcoin. Had I not played around with other cryptocurrencies over the past years, I would’ve been in a much better place right now. This is the reason I’m all in and know that my investment will only appreciate from here. NFA.

History doesn’t necessarily repeat itself, but I don’t believe there is any other option that is better in the world.

Watch some appropriate Mark Moss videos. He has no agenda and analyzes the global sit and the math/plumbing of bitcoin.

    8. Bitcoin isn’t going away. There are just too many people that have such hardcore belief in it, regardless of the price. People have built careers around it and many of their livelihoods depend on it. So this fact will keep bitcoin around.

As for the long term price, the fact that bitcoin will continue to be around means that the longer it is around, the more OTHERS will start to believe in it as well.

One clear sign of this behavior is the annual low price that has always steadily trended upward with far less volatility. This annual low price is an indicator that shows there are more people willing to buy and hold bitcoin through the darkest and most bearish of times. When more and more money is held in bitcoin through those times, it shows you that there are more and more people who truly believe in it.

As Hal Finney once put it:

“Every day that Bitcoin does not collapse due to legal or technical issues increases the probability of success and justifies a higher price.”
