With everything going on in Iran and the strait of hormuz, and the increasing demand for energy from AI, will renewable energy sector be the winner of 2026?

The Phillippines is said to only have enough fuel for 45 days, will this be the event that finally accelerates the world towards renewable energy?

As long as republicans are in charge no.

Trump is paying a billion taxpayer dollars so a company wont build cheap power producing wind plants

this whole situation really shows you how fucking stupid people are. You give them the cold hard facts. There is an oil and gas shortage, these energy sources will go up in price.

then they start asking dumb questions like, should i invest in renewable energy? should i buy banks? should i buy pepe coin because because because…

      no bro.

the answer is right in front of you. stop making it hard on yourself. holy shit.

    3. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about the world as a whole it’s that they really don’t do anything to prevent a disaster only respond very badly to one that’s already happened

    4. Not really the US, but probably Asia will rump up their transition as this has elvated to national energy security. As countries now realized how vulnerabe their economy are.

Just like how IEA was created after the 1973 oil shock.

Yet unfortunately this has limits and takes time, the most aggressive transition player, China, where renewable energy is literally national priority policies for years, still very much lagged behind in true transition.

So probably not 2026, maybe a longer story from 2026 to 2030, as we need more energy anyway.
