Was digging through some ancient threads couple days back and stumbled across Hal Finney reddit profile. Guy's final comment was from 13 years ago where he basically gave away full Bitcoin to someone. Going through those old conversations and checking profiles of people he interacted with is pretty wild experience. Maybe veteran users know about this already but figured I share anyway.
Got me thinking – what's biggest Bitcoin tip you ever witnessed in this subreddit? Those early days must have been crazy different when people just threw around whole coins like nothing.
Also found this quote from him that stuck with me: "One piece of advice. Research has shown that happiness obtained by buying things is fleeting, because you get used to them. Better to invest in experiences and memories, because they'll be with you always."
Pretty deep stuff from one of the pioneers
