I checked Capital One pre-approval and was offered the Savor and Quicksilver “for Good Credit” versions
Right now I only have the Capital One Platinum with a $300 limit, and amazon only card $1500 limit my credit history is less than a year old. My scores are:
TransUnion: 732
Equifax: 707
I’m worried about getting stuck with another low (bucketed) limit and possibly multiple hard pulls.
I don’t know much about credit cards. But i want t higher limit with no annual fee
Would it make more sense to go with Capital One, or should I try for Discover it or Chase instead? I don’t want to waste a hard inquiry on another $300 limit if I might qualify for something better.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Pre-approved for Capital One Good Credit cards — worth it?

They’re good cards. But this might be a sign that you can get cards for good credit from other issuers too. So you might want to compare offers to make sure a Cap 1 card is best.
My son was in your shoes…Platinum with $400 limit. He finally applied for the Savor and got $3k limit. It’s a good card, especially if most of your spend is on food and entertainment.
I just got the savor to cover my grocery spend till I feel fine going to the Amex gold route. Capital one is also merging with discover soon.
