I’ve been using my Discover card (which I had throughout college) to pay for everything without keeping a balance. For the past few years, I’ve been going on a week-long vacation at least once a year. Considering this, would you say that at least one international trip annually is enough to justify the Venture X and its annual fee?

Absolutely. The Venture X card is the best travel card you can get: the annual miles bonus and the $300 statement credit basically mean it’s no AF.
