If I can't get the one realtor to go to bat for me (Ghosting, uninterested) is it wrong to find another listing agent? I am afraid it will nuke my chances.
There's a rental property I am looking at and the woman who showed me the place is fucking around. It's like pulling teeth. I just saw there was another agent.
Does that mean I am under contract? I don't know.
Contacting another realtor for a property?

What’s your contract say?
Let me make sure I understand: YOUR agent that you have a contract with has ghosted you, or random agent off a website has ghosted you?
A couple of things worth knowing before you decide.
First, check if you signed a buyer representation agreement. If you did, review the terms. The good news is you can generally fire a buyer’s agent at any time, but you’ll want to do it in writing. A simple email stating you’re terminating the relationship is usually all it takes. Each state may have its own regulations on this so I do not want to mislead you in this.
IIf you’re not locked in at all, even simpler.
Finding a new buyer’s agent who’s actually engaged and wants to work for you doesn’t nuke your chances on any listing. Agents switch clients and get replaced all the time. It’s a completely normal part of the business.
What actually hurts your chances is being represented by someone who isn’t showing up. That has a way of coming through on the other side whether you realize it or not.
If you didn’t sign a contract with the first person who showed you the house then they are technically not your agent and you are free to find another. If you did, you have to read the contract to figure out how to separate from that agent without penalty.
Also, a listing agent is the person working for the seller, sounds like you need a buyers agent.
And if you don’t have a pre-approval get one, or make sure you can prove you have the cash for the purchase. A lot of agents don’t give the time of day to buyers without a pre-approval or pre-qualification from the bank. Maybe that is why the agent is ghosting you?
Good lord, this is a mess. I have no idea if you’re trying to purchase, sell, or what. Do you have an agreement with an agent? Did you already send an offer? Did someone send you an offer? Was it accepted?
