My husband M(27) in making 31/hr and I just signed up for a job in which I'll make 37.6/hr.
We are able to live off of my husband's income with little extra (about 300 dollars)
(Everything rounded up)
Student dept: 9k with 6.8% interest (no interest for 3 more months)
Mortgage: 60k with 6% interest (payment 530)
Air unit loan: $60 a month (2k)
Car loan: car 23k left 350 per month
Credit card: 4k
4k in savings
Im doing no life style changes once I receive income. Im paying the air unit off immediately with one check and then the credit card with the next two. Im going to pay off my student loans in 4-5 months (my job will pay half).
My take home pay (after tax) i estimated low with take home being 4,200
Our income together would be 140k before taxes.
Any advice or changes in my plan?
Working at the hospital i will likely get great insurance- its the best in the area offering full payment of any care in that hospital and sister clinic. I do not currently know the package cost- estimated with talking to other employees 400-500 a month.
4.2k income increase, which will be excess to our current financial needs.

Are either of you contributing to retirement?
I make more per hour than you and take home less. Are you in a state with no state income tax? Are you contributing to retirement?
