So recently, I applied for a new fidelity credit card, and was instantly approved for a $7400 limit. In addition, I asked AMEX for a credit limit double from $4700 to $9400 and was also instantly approved. In addition to other credit cards, I hold almost $75k in available credit. I am a 20 year old college student with very little income. Does this not seem weird to anyone?

Are the credit limits they’re giving me normal?

Im a 19 year old college student with ≈30k in available credit, amex has no issues with granting CLIs as long as you’ve been paying off your card. BofA approved me for my second card at $7.5k.

    2. What income are you putting down on your application? I find it kinda odd that you are getting such high limits despite you saying your income is low.

also out of curiosity, what other cards do you have?
