I've been monitoring the DOGE network hashrate more closely than usual over the past few weeks and wanted to flag something for the community here.

Network hashrate as of March 2026: approximately 2.4-2.75 PH/s (varies by source – CoinWarz and Minerstat show slightly different figures).

What caught my attention: there seem to be some hashrate movements that don't obviously map to existing major pools. Could be infrastructure scaling, could be new miners, hard to say definitively without more data.

For anyone tracking DOGE network composition: are you seeing anything interesting in the hashrate breakdown? I'm specifically trying to understand whether new infrastructure is coming online or whether this is existing pool scaling.

Tracking new hashrate entering the DOGE network – anyone else notice movements lately?

    1. Probably bad data.

Coinwarz shows the hashrate in their graph on Feb23rd as 3.3PH, but lists the ATH as 8.7PH on the same day lower on the page.

Minerstats also shows it between 2 and 3 PH.

the general increases in hashrate seem to coincide with the releases of newer miner generations. iirc, end of 2025 a new miner came out, which coincides with the increase in hashrate.

whenever there is a strong decrease in hashrate, it’s aligning with price-dumps that most likely made some miners turn off their rigs. Especially if they ran older, less efficient ones that weren’t profitable anymore.
