just had the thought, sorry if this has come up before.

but with Trump the way he is, I anticipate he will want to go on a printing spree so his new dollar is out there in greater supply. is there a worry that this will cause greater inflation?

Trump signature = Money printing spree?

The Federal Reserve controls the money supply, not the President. He controls the Treasury, so he has a lot of influence, but they decide if there will be an increase or decrease in the money supply.

    2. That isn’t how modern money is created. It isn’t literally printed. Paper and coin currency is usually done on a replacement level (more or less). Less than 10% of money in the US is in physical form. When people discuss “printing money” they are referring to the increase in money supply created through loans. This is electronic currency.
