Anyone else notice this? It makes me nuts.

“Chipotle is a rip off! It shouldn’t be $22 for one burrito!🗣️🗣️” Come to find out they got a steak burrito with extra steak, add guac, add queso. Whereas a basic chicken burrito is $8.95.

“My phone bill is a million dollars a month! What a ripoff! How am I supposed to live!” Well you bought a brand new iPhone 38 via monthly installment and you’re paying for some ridiculous phone plan from Verizon?

“Help I make $2,000/month but I’m spending $1,500 of it on my vehicle alone! This is predatory!” Dude you’re literally paying $800/month for a gas guzzling 2026 truck from the dealership, plus sky high insurance.

Why are people like this? It’s a trend I notice more and more. People CHOOSE the most expensive option, then moan and complain about being unable to afford life and say stuff is too expensive.

People purchase the most premium thing plus add ons/upgrades, then complain about price of said thing

I get what you’re saying and the spirit of your entire post, but I just have to say a basic chicken burrito at the Chipotle’s around me are $11.35.

    2. A lot of people get upsold and then want to complain about the upsell like they didn’t make choices. I also haven’t gotten a basic chipotle burrito for under $10 for awhile.
