Have other cards, but I got the VX for general catch all essentially 2% and Amazon Prime 5% (gift cards) which I use for my random categories of
– Home Furniture (IKEA)
– Home Appliances/Tech – Best Buy
– Home Improvements (Home Depot, Lowe's, Menard's)
– General Hardware (Ace and Harbor Freight)
I do get some gift cards on the lower end spend (think less than $100). But wondering what card could I get if I have a bigger spend ($500+).
US Bank Shopper Card is very attractive, has most retailers on my list, but I don't think I can easily offset the AF, considering I already got the catch all card, and it is not a consistent spend. (6% becomes 4% with "lost opportunity" or the 5% for smaller spends).
U.S. BANK CASH+ doesn't seem to have home improvement nor hardware. But ticks off best buy/electronics and furniture. And no AF.
Any other alternatives? Other than going to the brand store CC?
Homeowners card (non mortgage) – cash back/no AF or low AF
