I’ve tried to understand Bitcoin before through videos, posts, and random threads, but it always felt like I was just picking up pieces without really seeing the full picture.

I recently read Crypto for Dummies: A Beginner’s Guide to Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Not Losing Your Mind (or Your Money) and it honestly explained things more clearly than anything else I’ve come across.

What I liked is that it doesn’t jump straight into price or hype. It starts with the basics and actually explains them in a way that makes sense, things like what a wallet really is, what a private key represents, and what’s actually happening when you send a transaction.

It also explains why self-custody matters and why so many people mess it up in the beginning, which I think is where a lot of beginners run into problems.

The biggest difference for me was that it connected everything into one system. Before, it felt like separate concepts. After reading it, it finally felt like I understood how it all fits together.

If you’re new to Bitcoin or feel like you sort of understand it but can’t explain it clearly, I’d honestly recommend the book. It’s one of the few resources that made it click for me.

This book made Bitcoin finally make sense to me
