Global human population has surpassed Earth’s sustainable carrying capacity. The Earth cannot sustain the future human population, or even today’s, without a major overhaul of socio-cultural practices for using land, water, energy, biodiversity, and other resources.

Should the tech bro’s get maybe even 30% of human work efforts replaced by AI, that 30% becomes expendable. Think about it. It solves near every problem we have now. 30% less food needed. 30% less energy needed. 30% less pollution. It’s dark and evil as hell, but I think that’s the current race. To replace as many humans as possible in order to avoid the planet erasing us.
