My car was hit in a hit and run in a parking lot. I made a claim through insurance and will have to pay my $500 deductible. The car is scheduled to go in for repair on May 1st.
Yesterday, like an idiot, I scraped up the back of my car over the wheel. First time in over 20 years of driving that I’ve done this, ugh.
My car is only two years and (up until 2 weeks ago) was pristine. If I report this to my insurance, will I have to pay another deductible?

All/are they around the same end of the car? If so, you could get a bid for the costs out of pocket if you don’t want a second claim.

Yes that would need a separate deductible. Two separate damage causing incidents, two claims, and therefore two deductibles.
