My husband and I put in an offer for the perfect property but were beat out by an all cash, no contingencies offer ðŸ˜
We were informed of this on 27 March and later that day, the agent removed the listing and put it in the MLS as TOM.
As of today, 29 March at 7:30 PM ET, the MLS hasn't been updated to reflect the contract ratification.
There is a current tenant in place and the showings were few and far between, and the agent put it in TOM last week and then the next day brought it back to active status.
But now that they accepted an offer, I'm left wondering why this is the case? Why hasn't it been updated to reflect as "pending?"
Why would the agent leave it in a TOM status?
TOM but with a ratified contract??

it’s the weekend…
Could be the cash buyer got cold feet or financing fell through – seen this happen when buyers think they’re all cash but actually need to liquidate assets first
