I got to try out award travel for the last two years and kind of narrowed down the airlines that I'm looking for. I also got to try the various hotels the last several months to see which ones I liked. Finally tested a bunch of perks from the cards I got. Need help on either consolidating or opening specific cards to focus my strategy.

* British Airways (Chase) – Qatar Airways
* American Airlines (Citi/Barclays Card) – AA, JAL, Alaska
* Southwest (Chase) – Southwest

* EVA Air
* Korean Air
* Thai Airways
* Delta
Hotel Points I frequently use
* Hyatt (Chase) – Usually airport hotel stays for an early award flight (often) or if it exists at my destination (rare). No status usually or Discoverist sometimes. No perks used except free bottled water. Love the low point cost, even with the recent deval.
* Marriott (Marriott cards FNC + point top-up on sales) – Marriotts are often at my destinations, but $250- $450/night or 56,000-110000 points/night hurt a lot. Really appreciate 4pm Late Checkout, free breakfast, and free water with Platinum Status but destination and high parking fees really suck.
* Hilton (Hilton Aspire FNC + Aspire point multipliers. Thinking of Surpass to supplement) – Hiltons are sometimes in my destinations at $200-$380/night or 50,000-130,000 points/night. I'd like to get a Surpass to generate points for more stays and the uncapped FNC, but last year Hilton got hit with three devals in a row… feeling like it's a lot less sustainable than Marriott right now. Really appreciate the late checkouts (usually 2pm), free water and free breakfast with Diamond status.
* IHG (Cash) – I have Platinum status and really appreciate the 2pm late checkout, free water and sometimes get free breakfast (YMMV). Thinking about 4th night free on points, but honestly IHG isn't very common at my vacation destinations. I use this for work, but they're bought in group blocks through Concur and I get nothing for it, no points.
* Other Hotels/Airbnb – If I can't find any in the brands above, I try to book the cheapest non-hostel at the destination. I do really value the late checkouts so I try to stay at the above brands. Most of the time the above brands also have a free shuttle to/from the airport too.
For some background, I live near a Delta/AA/United hub (split equally). I'd say my travel is like 60% East/Southeast Asia, 30% North America, and 10% other so I can take AC, JAL, CX, BR, OZ/KAL (KE), TG, CI, NH, AA, UA, DL metal for international and AS, UA, AA, DL, SW, JB metal for domestic.
I guess I'm rambling too much, basically I'm torn as to which ecosystems I should go into. Atmos for Alaska? All in on Hilton purchasing on Surpass? Switch to Citi somehow by product changing my AA cards? Stick with Chase and supplement with Aeroplan card? What no FTF Mastercard?
