My collection of dried flowers has slightly outgrown my shelf space, and my walls need some texture. The solution is clear, but I couldn't find any wall-mounted vases that I liked, let alone cheap ones.

    1. I decided to do this with a medication box and a box of very-expired Narcan. But, of course, you could do this with any reasonably sized box.

    2. I cut off the tops, and removed the innards of the Emgality box.

    3. I taped the Emgality box shut.

    4. I cut apart a couple of paper grocery bags (not pictured) and wrapped the boxes like presents. (As you can see, I did not care about precision.) On the wall-mounted side and the inside, I closed them with tape, since nobody's going to see that. On the bottoms, I used glue.

    5. For pizzazz, I "hemmed" a strip of the darker bag with glue, and glued it to the top of the lighter "vase". I also glued a piece of a streamer — left over from a party — to the darker vase.

    6. These are lightweight enough that I could mount them with pushpins. If you do this, I recommend using one pin in each upper corner; I mounted the smaller vase with one pin in the center, and it pivoted around a lot when I was positioning the flowers.

This took a little over an hour from lightbulb moment to putting them on my wall. They might not be everyone's style, but I think they match my room very well :\^) All it cost me was a couple cents' worth of glue, tape, and pushpins.

    1. As an addiction counsellor, I approve this vase.

*also, if used, remember to refill! Love this!
