I’ve been going down a rabbit hole of privacy and learned about using Krux in conjunction with electrum on Tails OS. Maybe some hardened bitcoiners here can shed some light on the pros and cons of having this setup?
Tails + Krux is a solid combo honestly. Clean separation, no persistent state, PSBT flow works well with Electrum.
One thing worth understanding though — air gapped isn’t the same as key-free. The private key still exists digitally in Krux’s memory at signing. You’re protecting against remote attacks, not against physical extraction.
Also how did you generate your seed? That part matters as much as the signing setup and people skip over it.
What are you using for seed storage alongside this?
