There are over 7 million of us stuck in SAVE forbearance right now, and honestly, it’s just frustrating and exhausting. We’re stuck in limbo, dealing with uncertainty and financial stress because of decisions completely out of our control.
I’m disappointed. I’m sad. I did everything right, and now it feels like we’re getting screwed!
If you’re in the same position, speak up. Pay attention. Stay engaged. Policies like this don’t change unless people actually show up and make their voices heard.
Also, has anyone here actually been able to qualify for the PAYE plan recently? I’m curious what others are seeing.
Make sure you’re paying attention when it’s time to vote.

1. Leave now, starting giving the government money for whatever it is they are doing with money… they really really really need that money right now.
2. Do nothing until they force you off, I thought around October/November.
I’m waiting it out.
There should be a civil suit at some point that imposes an injunction. Gonna be sure to sign up for it if there is.
If not, then I’ll see what that RAP is about in July and make a decision.
They promoted an illegal plan that many of us signed up for thinking that we could trust these quasi gov’t businesses, and it had severe financial consequences for us all. Anyone who signed up for SAVE should be forgiven.
In the same boat. Stuck in limbo.
How long do we have to switch to PAYE ?
