March was crazy. stocks and other market were all over the place and many people got liquidated. I was focused on stocks, especially the Mag7, and it looks like Q1 was their weakest quarter in a while.

Getclaw says more drop could come in Q2. I had to change my positions quickly. I closed my META and TSLA longs and yesterday I opened a short on MSFT using Bitgetstock futures. Their 0 fees caught my attention. I am planning to reenter around 320.

But the big question is why are the Mag7 in a downward spiral? Weak earnings, macro problems, or just market overreaction? What do you think?

Why are the Mag7 stocks going down?

The question of the day is actually why does the market go up so abruptly, makes absolutely no sense to me. Seems like another stringent manipulation done by a certain person I won’t name here…

I’d see it more as a valuation and uncertainty reset than an earnings issue.

The Mag7 are still experiencing strong growth in earnings and revenues, but the market is re-pricing the substantial AI CapEx cycle. A lot of cash flow is being reinvested, so the question is when will these huge investments turn to profit. On top of that, there is macro pressure in the form of higher rates for longer, geopolitical risk such as that posed by Iran and energy costs, which tends to affect growth.

So it feels more like a correction in sentiment and valuation within an intact earnings trend than a fundamental breakdown
