    Iran will end the war and open the straight IF their ballistic missiles and nuclear program are approved and reinstated.

      At this point, yeah they have every right to ask that considering Israel and America will never stop being aggressors to them.

      When the Iranians say they want those programs ‘approved and reinstated’ they probably mean that they want all sanctions on those programs dropped as part of a peace deal.

      Successive Iranian governments have tried to obtain sanctions relief without much to show for it. Securing this from the Trump administration would be a major success for Iran, and it would all but guarantee they have a stronger position in a subsequent conflict. 

      Without sanctions on their missile program, they could import parts from abroad- particularly North Korean components, whom they have a longstanding relationship with- and export those weapons to their various allies and non-state allies with minimal risk. 

      Without sanctions on their nuclear program, the vast majority of sanctions on Iran’s banking and energy sectors would basically disappear- allowing them to expand their economy quite rapidly. 

      The various Israeli courtiers in the White House will probably not allow Trump to approve this, but this is exactly the sort of detail stuff that Trump has a tendency to overlook in pursuit of theatrical events and spectacle.

      Iran will be bombed to dust but they will never get what they want, the nuclear programme and brutal theocracy is the reason they were collapsing even before the war, this is just wishful thinking,

      It’s like me saying I won’t drive a car unless it’s Rolls Royce, I can have my preference but the world couldn’t give less of a fuck about what I want same goes for Iran

      Can the Iranians trust the US/ Israel ?. They already had a nuclear agreement and attacked them twice during negotiations.

      This is actually likely to happen. Every country in the world wants the straight open and the Iranians are prepared to take control of it regardless of US intervention. Trump is disorganized and has no world support other than from Israel, who is also facing massive world economic and political pressure. He may TACO out and it will happen with some rhetoric about how the Dems or Biden or Obama did something or other and now its too late to fix. But wait, only Trump has a plan to fix it and everything is going perfectly. Just watch and wait, he has it fixed already if the Dems will just let him do it.
