My setup was mostly cash back with the RH gold as my bottom line. I was using the gold but I found I was simply not getting good CPP value on transfer partners and the Amex travel portal is so inflated. I found the only strong way to get value from Amex points is via international (and ideally business class) flights. I ended up taking 1:0.8 value on my points and cashed them all for an effective 3.2% on dining and grocery. Now I’m using the Altitude Go for dining and Citi Custom Cash for grocery for about 4.5% on both. The one con is international travel, but I’m really not doing that much of it right now. It feels weird leaving the Amex behind, but I think this route is way more flexible and profitable.

Made teh same move last year and never looked back – those transfer partners only work if you’re actually using them regularly
