Per NYT: “President Trump said on Tuesday that the United States would wrap up its military campaign in Iran in two or three weeks and dismissed the closure of the Strait of Hormuz as a problem for other countries to resolve.”

This is about to be the second biggest 🌮 post liberation day or im missing the rocket. Got rekt a little yesterday but still loaded with post CPI QQQ puts, June dated USO/BNO/SU/MOS/XLE ITM calls

I think it’s a yesterday was buy the rumor, today is sell the news. We go back down short and medium regardless of ending unilaterally. Oil infrastructure is still fked and inflation is going up regardless.

      *starts war with Iran*

      *gets Strait of Hormuz closed*

      *refuses to elaborate*

      *leaves war*

I don’t see how it’s a mission accomplished speech with the strait still closed. He can sell his definition of “regime change” but it requires the strait to return to normal. A truce also wouldn’t survive a press embargo between multiple countries. More likely an escalation imho

    3. Futures are still rising so i’ll base my either calls or puts right before market open. I agree there will be a lot of red this year but Wednesday might be another green day due to blind hope.

If this were true 🌮 & friends would load up on calls and drop the news randomly

Imagine he tells his buddies to load puts and announces boots on the ground tomorrow and that all prior announcements were to stall for time to get troops into position. Would be cinema. Pure and utter retardation from this admin.

    6. and Iran now operates a Yuan backed tollbooth. Art of the Deal masterclass by Donnie.

“Two weeks” is Trumpish for “i have no plans and no intention of making plans.”

    8. I call bull shit, dude just sent another drove of troops and aircraft carriers to the region like yesterday

    9. TheShadowdude231 on

Nah he’s just saying it for the market. He’ll put out a whole speech on Wednesday and start landing troops by Friday. All he’s gotta say is Iran violated agreements Thursday after markets close and trades are placed and BAM, the rubes clack their empty heads in unison

This doesn’t make sense when they’ve been sending thousands of troops out there

    11. I mean, if Iran actually attacks tech infrastructure today (like they announced) then you will see a nasty drop before Trump even gets to open his mouth.

Military wise, 1) our offensive and defensive capability will probably only last 2-4 weeks. We have been burning through our stockpile since the Ukraine war. 2) Amphibious landing is notorious hard to do and plan. Sending a few thousands troops there is more of a show of muscle. If he really want to do it, orange man need at least a couple more thousands men to act as reserves.

It’s like when I run up to people, punch them in the face, then shout ‘fights over!’.

Thems the rules. Your opponent is legally required to not fight back then, it’s all over.

When has this guy ever said 2 weeks and meant 2 weeks. In fact this time they are saying 2-3 weeks which is even worse!

Good idea to unleash all weapons made in the last 10 years before going off because storage costs starting to add up

    16. Just walked into McDonald’s and took a big old shit on the floor and walks out

    17. And the world is eating it up like it’s gospel truth. Just sounds like another insider trade being done, at the cost of the petrodollar. China says thanks

I agree, oil hovering around $100 is still gonna cause an earnings headwind for a lot of companies. We’re not going to new highs until the end of the year tbh
