Went through the app, credit was frozen, unfroze it…approved
Went to make an account (which was weird as I already had one). It wouldnt let me make an account: the “username“ didn’t exist (?)
I figured I can merge it to my other account so I just closed the tab and went to my email. lo and behold I received no email or correspondence
I then went back to the application status page and it said I’m under review (after being approved already, mind you)
So I applied, got accepted, couldn’t make an account, got put under review (?)
I see the CITI hate I can’t lie

That whole approval-then-review thing is peak Citi nonsense, happened to me with their Double Cash a few years back. Their systems are like held together with duct tape and prayers – I had to call three different departments just to get my account actually set up after “approval”
