I was hoping for an increase soon, but wasn’t expecting it this soon! And I was also expecting maybe an increase to $500. Does this mean I’m not bucketed?
Got my first credit card ever in December (Capital One Platinum) with a $300 limit. Woke up this morning to my limit being increased to $1000. Is this normal?

Nice! Enjoy the increase. No one really knows when/why any particular company runs through the process and determines (usually by algorithm) to give any particular user a CLI.
Wow, that’s a great increase! You must be using the card exactly the way they want.
I’m not convinced bucketing is really a thing, I think Capital One just wants heavy usage and many people starting out just play it safe.
