No-one knows if the ground troops are going in or not, Trump was talking about a wind down, but Trump likes to be unexpected.
In fact, I think that’s my conclusion for all of this. Trump likes to be unexpected, it makes for good tv. You’ve got to keep the audience on their toes, or they’ll soon get bored.

Both have good reason to lie, and have lied before.
Very interesting ‘war’ we’ve got here. It’s like the kinetic part of the war is secondary to the price and conditions of the oil market. Oil prices are the weapon.
Neither party can really go as hard as they’d really like to, because they don’t want to totally screw the oil market or destroy the industry in the region. They just want to lightly rat fuck it in their favor.
