I switched out of SAVE last summer and selected a new plan. My loans are in deferment until July, but I did get notice my new plan was improved. Today I got an email telling me I need to switch out of SAVE or I’ll get assigned a plan. So I logged into Mohela to check and it shows my new plan, not SAVE. So WTF? Has this happened to anyone else?

    1. Some borrowers previously on SAVE are getting them. FSA might be sending emails based on older information. I think someone here says the small print at the bottom of the email says to disregard it if it doesn’t apply to you.

    2. The email was likely sent out to many borrowers, whether they are on SAVE now or were in the past or even never, to cover their bases. If you’re already on a different plan, just ignore it.
