Hello I’m not discussing yesterday’s article , just a specific item from one of the influencers that are saying don’t re use addresses . I understand that. Always receive into a new address . But what about spending , they don’t mention spending . Spending exposes public key . So even if you always receive into a new addresses , won’t one of those new addresses eventually be used later in spending , thus exposing your public key ?

Ideally everyone should use a new addresses for each UTXO not only for privacy reasons but also hypothetical quantum concerns as well.
Fun Fact : spending 10 UTXOs from 1 address costs the same as spending 10 UTXOs from 10 addresses thus address reuse does not save on transaction fees

the receiver reusing their address exposes their pub key , **not yours**
Fun Fact : Googles research paper had to do with theoretical math. There is no working prototype that indicates the QC hardware can ever scale and good evidence to suggest it doesn’t scale well.
